First NAET session with Julie Holland

Last Saturday we all drove up to Narborough for Imaan's first NAET session with Julie Holland.

NAET stands for “Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques” and Nambudripad is the name of the doctor who developed it during the 1980's - Dr. Devi Nambudripad. NAET is an alternative holistic non-invasive therapy that not only identifies food and environmental allergies but also seeks to eliminate them permanently.

The diagnostic method for autistic children is called "Surrogate testing" which is derived from kinesiology. The surrogate touches the skin of the child being tested while the practitioner tests the arm muscle of the surrogate. The testing is done by testing various substances which the surrogate holds in small vials and in contact with the child.

We were a bit sceptical when we first heard about the treatment from our friend Minal who has been seeing Julie as well. Her son has apparently responded really well to the treatments. We were quite astonished when she explained that the kinesiology muscle tests gave the same results as the clinical tests which were carried out in a hospital.

Anyway, according to the tests Imaan is allergic to a couple of substances and we have hundreds to go through. These included a few substance which we already suspected, including gluten. However, to our dismay we also found out that he was allergic to chicken - his favourite food, as well.

This week we are going to treat two substances that he was found to be allergic to, namely, chicken and calcium. We will be posting regular updates about how Imaan responds to the treatments here.

It may be our imagination but on Sunday we all went to Kenilworth Castle and all of us noticed how alert Imaan was and he was really enjoying himself. He would even pose when pictures were being taken.

I know that it sounds like a bit of mumbo jumbo but it has apparently worked for thousands of people around the World and as we have realised by now, it helps to have a open mind when it comes to treating our children.

We would love to hear from other parents who have treated their children using Naet.
